Jacob Quijada is the Director of Bands at San Gorgonio High School. He is a native of Moorpark, CA and a graduate of Moorpark High School. After attending the University of Redlands, he completed his student teaching at San Gorgonio High School with Cameron Nabhan and John Brannon. Mr. Quijada is an elected member of Pi Kappa Lambda, the national music honors society, and received the Thelma Beardsley award for demonstrating potential in the field of music education. His professional affiliations include the California Band Directors Association, Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association, the American String Teachers Association and the Audio Engineers Society. He holds the Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Education from the University of Redlands. Mr. Quijada has studied cello with Prof. Kyle Champion.
