Cameron J. Nabhan is the Director of Bands at San Gorgonio High School. He is a native of Palm Springs, CA and a graduate of Palm Springs High School. After attending the University of Redlands, he completed his student teaching at Raymond Cree Middle School with Eduardo Contreras and at Cathedral City High School with Gregory X. Whitmore. Prior to his appointment at San Gorgonio High School, Mr. Nabhan was Director of Bands at Encore High School in Hesperia, CA. Mr. Nabhan is an elected member of Pi Kappa Lambda, the national music honors society, and an alumni member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, a professional national music fraternity. His professional affiliations include San Bernardino County Music Educators Association, the California Band Directors Association, World Saxophone Congress, Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association, and the College Band Directors Association. He holds the Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Education from the University of Redlands, and the Master's Degree in Saxophone Performance from the University of Redlands. Mr. Nabhan has studied saxophone with Dr. Eddie Smith, and conducting and score study with Gregory X. Whitmore, Dr. Eddie Smith, and Dr. Jean-Sebastian Vallee.
